  • Updated! We have updated the UA Schedule for the Summer 2008 semester. (May 21, 2008)
  • Important! The Cadence license file will change on Wed, 21 May 2008. The University license has been updated to Release Stream IC6.1. The complete listing of Cadence Products our license covers is available in the following pdf file: cadence-university_selection.pdf (May 19, 2008)
  • Important! Beginning Monday, February 4, 2008, we will no longer be providing access to the ECE software server via ftp (ftp://software.ece.gatech.edu); you will continue to be able to access it through a mapped drive on your Windows machines. (January 31, 2008)
  • Important! The ccblincad Linux workstations in Klaus 1448 were reinstalled on 01/04/2008. If you receive a **WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED** message, follow the instructions to remove the old key entry. Some of the newly available programs include OpenOffice.org2, gv, the LyX editor, and the Eclipse and Ant programming environments. Also, the Sun Java, Adobe Reader, and Adobe Flash Firefox plugins are now working. (January 4, 2008)
