Great Minds Think Differently

Setting up X-Windows Emulation

NOTE: This is only offered as a suggestion. We, help@ece.gatech.edu, CANNOT troubleshoot any problems you may incur.

If you are lacking in funds, as most college students are, or just do not wish to purchase a commercial X-Windows emulator for use off campus (like Starnet's X-Win32 that we use on campus), we recommend X-Ming (http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/xming). Installation instructions are available on the following site: http://gears.aset.psu.edu/hpc/guides/xming/
